Sydney Evans competes in first CDI at 17!

The journey to CDI is exciting, challenging and incredibly rewarding. 17 year old Rose-Hip Vital® Equine sponsored young rider Sydney Evans tells us about her first CDI competition riding Sunny & Bronson.

“For many years our family and friends would all go to the CDI to admire the beautiful horses and riders compete at such a prestigious show. When I heard that I got accepted into the CDI I was beyond excited, competing at this show last week was the most amazing experience!

Both of my horses performed well, Belcam Geldof ‘Bronson’ competed in the CDI-Y classes, he placed 6th. For Bronson, it is a miracle that he is competing again at this level. A few years ago he tore all four suspensory’s in all legs at the same time, we were told he would never compete again. With the help of Rose-Hip Vital Bronson has made a full recovery and is 100% sound and looking better than ever!

Dara Park Tequila Sunrise ‘Sunny’ exceeded all expectations, competing in the advanced classes against all the big horses and professional riders. In a class of over 20 combinations Sunny placed in the top ten! For a pony this is an incredible achievement. We even got into the freestyle which was so much fun!
